With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a chrome-plated double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome-plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with two-ball mount for your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 Hitch is going to slide into your three-inch receiver, and it's going to give you a two-inch and a 2 5/16-inch double-sided chrome-plated steel tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy so you can tow different types of trailers, whether it be a smaller utility trailer, a camper, or a bow trailer. This dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for you to have multiple hitches. Now when you have the shank in this orientation, you're gonna get a maximum drop of eight inches.
When you flip the shank over, you'll get a maximum rise of nine inches. So you'll also have an incremental adjustment of one inch. So this is going to give you the adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. Now with the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 21,000 pounds. With the two-inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds.
And then the maximum tongue weight for this unit is 2,200 pounds. Taking a closer look at this hitch, this is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. And this features a premium black Cerakote finish. This finish is a ceramic coating that's going to provide an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish make this hitch look great on the back of your truck, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect this hitch, keeping it looking great, and also helping it to work properly for many years to come.
This also features a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very easy. And to switch this, you're just gonna take one of the four keys that's included with this kit. Everything is keyed alike, and I'm just gonna insert the key there, give it a turn, and then that's going to allow me to easily remove this dual pin slider lock. Now I am gonna turn the key back to the locked position, and that's gonna allow me to remove the key. But while I have this out, I wanted to point out that our pins are aluminum, so is the housing, but our lock is plated steel.
So this is a durable piece of equipment here that's going to do a great job of resisting corrosion. But I wanted you to notice just how easily the ball platform here slides up and down the shank. So you're not gonna have to worry about struggling to get the adjustment that you're looking for. I'm just gonna swap this over to the two-inch ball just like that. And then let me bring this around and I'm gonna replace our slider pin lock here. I'm just gonna line up the holes. And if you notice, I don't have the key in, and I mentioned that I put it back into locked position. So if I just push this in, (pin lock clicks) it locks back into place. So I don't need the key inserted to lock that back into place. And then I'm just gonna replace the included rubber cap here and that cap is gonna protect that keyway from dirt, debris, moisture and things like that. So this is going to be very easy to use, very easy to adjust. Another thing that I like that is included with this is this hitch pin lock. And as I mentioned, you're gonna get four keys. Everything is keyed alike, so one key is going to operate the dual pin slider lock and our hitch pin lock. So this is going to work much the same way. I'm just gonna give it a turn, and that's going to allow me to remove the lock. And again, I'm gonna put that key back in the locked position. That's gonna allow me to remove the key. I'm gonna replace that cap that's gonna protect the keyway. It is tethered. And then when I'm ready to lock this into my trailer hitch receiver, all I have to do is push it together firmly, and I'm locked into place. So you're really going to get built-in protection here for your investment. Your ball platform's gonna be secured to the hitch, and then the whole entire unit is going to be secured to your trailer hitch receiver. So it's really gonna be a great theft deterrent that's included with this. Let me give you some measurements here. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting about 8 1/2 inches. Moving down to the center of the second hitch pin hole, about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of our shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684 certified and VESC Regulation V-5 compliant. So if you're looking for a hitch that's going to really be a great long-term investment for you if you're looking for a premium option that's going to give you quite a bit of flexibility, safety, and especially with this coating on here, quite a bit of durability, and as we saw together, it's gonna be very easy to use, this is really gonna be an excellent option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
